Arctic Stories of Abisko

Discover Abisko National Park through its landscapes, stories and the simple pleasure of spending time outdoors.

Join us for an easy two-hour walk through the Arctic nature, where we slow down and take time to notice what surrounds us. Along the way, your guide shares stories about Abisko, the mountains, the changing seasons and life in this remote part of northern Sweden.

We stop somewhere beautiful to enjoy a traditional Swedish fika together. 

The route changes naturally with the seasons, weather and conditions, allowing us to experience different sides of Abisko National Park throughout the year. One day may bring colourful autumn landscapes and crisp mountain air, another fresh snow, winter darkness or a completely different atmosphere.

There is no long distance to cover and no rush to get anywhere. Arctic Stories is about experiencing Abisko at a slower pace, discovering the stories of the place and sharing a simple moment together outdoors.

Pickup information: Pickup is available for guests who are 6 years or older and at least 135 cm tall. Younger children or children under 135 cm are very welcome to join the experience but must meet the guide directly at the designated meeting point in Abisko National Park.
